Born and raised on the Cheshire/North Wales border, I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist now based in Dunoon, Argyll, on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. I work online with adults of differing ages and backgrounds from all over the UK, supporting them with a wide range of issues, both in short-term counselling and longer-term therapy. I have a quiet and calm approach to working, with a little bit of humour thrown in if appropriate!
My qualifications:
- BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology
- Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Skills
- Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Wellbeing, Counselling and Psychotherapy
- Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling
I am an accredited member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their code of ethics, as well as having regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development.
And when I’m not working, I volunteer for Cancer Research UK as a Campaigns Ambassador representing the constituency of Argyll, Bute and South Lochaber, enjoy musical theatre (both watching and performing), walking, wild swimming, and also relax by reading, cooking, watching films, and drinking gallons of tea!
